Position Summary
The Category Manager plays a key role in ensuring a seamless customer journey from inquiry through fulfillment. This hybrid role bridges customer service, sales operations, and marketing to support business development, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to brand visibility. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a keen eye for process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Relationship Management
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Maintain a high standard of service and build trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Assist customers with product selection, order details, and issue resolution.
  • Order Processing
  • Logistics Coordination
  • Production coordination
  • Organizing Inventory
  • Purchasing
Sales Support & Operations
  • Identify and respond to bidding opportunities, prepare quotes, and participate in pricing negotiations as needed.
  • Track and maintain sales metrics and support sales budgeting.
  • Support product launches and collaborate closely with the Nova Division and other internal teams.
Marketing & Outreach
  • Create and distribute customer newsletters, promotions, and announcements under guidance from the Director of Sales.
  • Contribute to the development of digital marketing campaigns including social media and advertising strategies.
  • Attend weekly in-person team meetings to align on campaigns, priorities, and goals.
Cross-functional Support
  • Provide coverage and support across sister brands such as King HG and Redibase, particularly during staff vacations or leaves.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to broaden operational knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or sales coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with quoting, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media and basic marketing tools is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $60,000 per year salary.
  • Participation in the company-wide Profit Sharing Plan, distributed quarterly based on overall company performance.
  • 3 weeks’ vacation annually; eligibility for a 4th week after 10 years of service.
