Develop test and deploy predictive machine learning models to support business use cases such as customer behavior risk assessment fraud detection and operational optimization
Conduct quantitative and statistical analyses on large complex datasets to extract actionable insights
Design and create data visualizations and dashboards for targeted high volume big data sources to communicate insights effectively to business and technical stakeholdersAdditional Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with business technology and data engineering teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
Perform data exploration feature engineering and model validation to ensure accuracy robustness and explain ability
Document analytical approaches model assumptions and findings in a clear and concise manner
Support model monitoring performance tracking and continuous improvement post deployment
Ensure compliance with data governance privacy and regulatory standards applicable to Canadian banking environmentsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Strong hands on experience in machine learning statistical modeling and predictive analytics
Proficiency in Python eg pandas NumPy scikit learn Tensor Flow, PyTorch and/or R
Experience working with large datasets using SQL and big data platforms eg Spark Hadoop Snowflake
Solid understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or matplotlib seaborn
Strong analytical thinking problem solving skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in banking financial services or risk compliance analytics
Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP
Knowledge of model explain ability bias detection and responsible AI practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to nontechnical audiencesThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 95,000 - 100,000.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
