Shipping Co-ordinator - Amico Architectural

• Determine best method of shipment and prepare shipping documents.
• Source new shipping companies, negotiate pricing and delivery times.
• Continuous improvement of packing methods to ensure product arrives to destination without damage.
• Coordinate with the Production and Shipping Team to schedule daily deliveries and customer pick- ups.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Resolve carrier issues and respond quickly to customer delivery expectations.
• Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
• React quickly to changing circumstances to ensure delivery to customers involving all key internal and external contacts.
• Participate as a key player in supporting operations as needed.

• Educational background in supply chain management or operations management studies is an asset.
• At least 3-5 years of Shipping or related experience is must.
• Knowledge of customs/FDA and international shipping is required.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask, able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient computer and math skills and ability to learn new software.
