As Superintendent, you will play a key role in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You'll be the on-site leader-coordinating trades, supervising site staff, and working closely with project managers and clients to ensure smooth execution from start to finish.
  • Oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage subcontractors, site staff, and trades to achieve project milestones.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, inspectors, and stakeholders.
  • Enforce health and safety policies in compliance with OHSA and company standards.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with the project management team on scheduling, cost control, and reporting.

  • 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ICI construction (schools, healthcare, commercial, industrial, or institutional projects).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts, and specifications.
  • Gold Seal Certification, PMP, or relevant trade certification considered an asset.
