I'm currently hiring an IT Project Manager for a public-sector municipal organization committed to delivering modern, high-performing digital services to its community.
This is a strategic temporary position within the IT Project Management Office.Your Role
Reporting to the Head of the IT Project Office, you will be responsible for analyzing, recommending, implementing, and delivering technology projects aligned with municipal needs.
You will coordinate internal stakeholders, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams while ensuring proper governance, budgeting, and risk management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying business needs and recommending complete and reliable technological solutions
- Evaluating implementation and operational costs
- Drafting technical specifications and IT tender documents
- Ensuring solution compliance with identified requirements
- Managing full project delivery lifecycle
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining the municipal application infrastructure roadmap
- Acting as an advisor for WEB and mobile technologies
- Participating in web system development (functional analysis, programming, testing, documentation, training, deployment)
- Performing web application development when required
- Conducting technology watch and recommending strategic directions
- Participating in budget preparation and control
- Applying internal project management methodologies
- Supporting IT business continuity planning and crisis response
We are looking for a structured, performance-driven IT Project Manager capable of working in a governance-focused public environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant IT project management experience
- Project management certification (asset)
- Business analysis certification (asset)
- Strong knowledge of web technologies
- Municipal sector experience (asset)
- Strong client-oriented mindset
