We are seeking to enhance our company team by welcoming a Machinist proficient in mold making.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to plan machining operations and sequence.Operate a variety of machine tools, including CNC machines, for precision machining tasksSet up, operate, and maintain a variety of manual machines and hand tools toperform precision, non-repetitive machining operationsFit, spot and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand andpower toolsVerify dimensions of machined parts for accuracy and conformance tospecifications using precision measuring instrumentsDiagnose issues, problem solve and repair in field injection moldsReport deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisorComplete and maintain inspection reportsPosition may require programming of machines at timesQualifications:At least 5 years of experience in the same industryExperience working on an EDM is requiredSalary: $36.00/hourBenefits: Life insurance, extended health, dental and long term disability coverageJob Type: Full-time permanent, We guarantee a minimum 32 hours per weekLanguage: At least intermediate English in oral proficiency, reading and writing is required.Job Location: Toronto, ON, M9L 2R6
