We currently have exciting opportunities within our Pulp & Paper Division operations for Civil Engineering Students to join our teams in Saint John and Utopia, New Brunswick, for the Fall 2024 Work Term.Qualifications:· Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and in good academic standing· Team player with a safety-first mindset· Ability to affectively time manage multiple projects.· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office· Long-term interest in an engineering careerWhat You Can Expect from your Work Term:You will get a hands-on work term working in our state-of-the-art facilities alongside our world-class professionals.Tasks may include:
  • Project concept development and preliminary design assignments
  • Assignments related to the development of project funding applications, justifications.
  • Participation in the management of construction contracts and the requisitioning of materials and services
  • Project construction, commissioning, and start-up support activities.
  • Working with contractors and mill personnel to determine scope, planning, and execution of work packages for mill projects.

This position will be based on-site at one of our 4 mill locations. We have 3 mills located in Saint John, NB and the 4th is located approximately 45 minutes outside of the city in Utopia, NB.
