Visionaries like you work on teams that save lives by developing the medicines of tomorrow.Join us in developing treatments, finding cures, and pioneering the path from lab to life while championing patients every step of the way.Learn more atJohnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is hiring a Market Access Strategic Team Lead – Rare Disease in our Market Access and Strategic Customers department located in Toronto, Ontario.ResponsibilitiesLead designated Market Access Strategy Teams for portfolio of assetsDevelop and implement market access strategies for products in portfolioLead cross functional team development of public and private reimbursement strategic plans to support asset value proposition for decision makers and payersWork collaboratively with Market Access leadership team to co-ordinate the personnel resources required to support reimbursement activitiesAct as Market Access product lead with other J & J departments, including Sales & Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and Leadership team to achieve brand reimbursement and launch objectivesWork with a cross functional team to lead the development and implementation of data generation plans and projects (e.g., health economic analysis, database analysis, outcomes research studies, resource use surveys, patient-preference studies, etc.) that support reimbursement strategiesLead evidence generation process with Medical Affairs to support data generation requirements for the products within portfolioLead team development of negotiation strategies, gain local and global approvals and co-lead negotiations to support access for J & J products with payors across CanadaCollaborate with Access field team to ensure alignment of national and regional reimbursement strategiesPresent clinical data, health economic data and product value messages to payors and other external stakeholders as requiredContribute to global access strategies to represent Canadian requirements and leverage global resources to meet local business needsLead and facilitate advisory boards and research projects to test reimbursement strategies and messagingManage portfolio budgetsQualificationsA minimum of an Undergraduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy, economics or health service sciences is required, a post-graduate degree or MBA is highly desirable5+ years of Market Access experience in pharmaceutical or health related industry is requiredStrong business insight is required - data assessment capabilities, market dynamics, portfolio planning, understanding of the marketing process, negotiation skills, critical thinking; innovative ideas; creative problem-solvingIn-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical lifecycle management and market access/reimbursement environment is requiredIn-depth knowledge of health technology assessment and health economic and outcomes research methodology & budget impact analysesExperience with Canadian payers and key opinion leaders is an assetAbility to prioritize multiple projects and initiatives while maintaining a strong sense of urgencyProven ability to lead, influence, and drive execution with internal and external customers and suppliersExcellent interpersonal skills and proven track record to partner and collaborate effectively across the organizationExcellent communication skills both written and verbalThis position may require up to 20% travelRequired Skills:Preferred Skills:The anticipated base pay range for this position is : 162,750.00- 212,750.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency: •As applicable for the role - Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for a discretionary performance bonus. •The Company uses Artificial Intelligence in its assessment of applicants. •This job posting is for an existing position.
