We’re not just about insurance; we’re about making a real difference by protecting what matters most.As the Canadian Group Finance Application Services (GFAS) Integration Lead / [Oracle Fusion Finance Systems Integration Lead], you will provide techno-functional operational and application support for Oracle Fusion (ERP, HCM, SCM, and related modules) to the Canadian Finance IT team as well as more broadly to Finance Product owners and project leads. This is not a traditional support role. You will play a key part in both day-to-day operations and the delivery of an extensive change portfolio, supporting and coordinating enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives. You will act as the primary point of contact for Canadian stakeholders and proactively engage with specialist teams in the UK (including DCR (Data Clean Room), OIC (Oracle integration Cloud), SFG (Stirling File Gateway), and others) to ensure seamless operations, rapid incident resolution, and regulatory compliance. The role is supported by an offshore Fusion Support Analyst fully dedicated to the Canada run and change portfolio.This position is uniquely structured. You will be fully embedded within the Canadian Finance Systems team, while maintaining a strong operational and strategic connection to Aviva’s Group Finance Application Services (GFAS) global framework. You will drive Canadian priorities and operational needs, applying the scale, standards, and expertise of the wider GFAS community, ensuring local requirements are met while contributing to the broader group vision. The position offers the opportunity to shape the future of finance systems support and transformation in a dynamic, cross border environmentWhat you'll doDeliver both proactive and reactive support for Oracle Fusion applications, focusing on Canadian operational and regulatory needs as part of the GFAS teamLead and support the delivery of change initiatives, including system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvementsTriage, investigate, and resolve incidents, integration errors, and data synchronization issues between Canada and the UKImplement small configuration changes in various Fusion modules (Subledgers, GL etc.)Monitor system performance, integrations (including OIC and third-party connectors), and scheduled processes, addressing issues that impact Canadian operationsManage user access, security roles, and workflow configurations for Canadian users, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirementsDeliver training, documentation, and mentorship to end users, and act as the main contact for Fusion related queries and support requestsCollaborate with business analysts, developers, and IT teams in Canada and the UK (including DCR, OIC, SFG, etc.) to deliver system enhancements, process improvements, and regulatory updatesBuild and maintain strong business relationships and networks across Canadian and UK teams, ensuring Canadian requirements are represented and prioritizedSupport operational resilience by maintaining up to date knowledge of Oracle Fusion releases, known issues, and internal policiesRepresent Canadian requirements in cross region projects, patching, upgrades, and regression testingManage and report on cross border intercompany charges, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with group policiesUphold and continuously improve service level agreements, ensuring all commitments are met and processes are regularly reviewed for enhancementWhat you'll bringDemonstrated experience in a techno-functional support role for Oracle Fusion Finance applications (General Ledger, Accounting Hub, Subledger Accounting) and related integrationsComprehensive Fusion & related subledgers (AP, AR, CM GL etc.)Deep understanding of Fusion data flows, including subledger imports, IFAD processing, and month‑end financial posting.Proven track record in supporting and delivering change initiatives within complex finance systems environments.Knowledge of file ingestion, error handling, and reprocessing logic for Fusion inbound/outbound messages.Strong service management skills, with a focus on incident, problem, and change management, and clear documentation for audit purposesWhat makes you stand outExceptionally strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiencesAdvanced negotiation skills, with confidence and diplomacy to influence outcomes and secure agreement across diverse partner groupsExcellent collaborator engagement and relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively across Canadian and UK teams and time zonesRelentless drive for issue resolution, highly organized, and adept at managing competing prioritiesProven ability to build business relationships and network effectively across disparate teams and geographiesExperience managing and reporting on intercompany charges or similar cross border financial processes is an assetWhat you’ll getThe salary band for this position ranges from $115,000 to $145,000.
