- Manage and prioritize the daily activities/workload of the team to ensure maximum efficiency
- Provide coaching feedback and guidance through monthly huddles, quarterly and annual performance reviews
- Resolve problems and client/broker related escalated issues
- Effectively partner with key internal and external partners to resolve escalations
- Identify and recommend methods to improve operations efficiency, service, and quality
- Monitor workflow queues and dashboards to ensure efficiency in achieving individual and team targets
- Participate in on-going training/cross-training plan emphasizing the employees continued development while identifying training opportunities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior management, as necessary
- Ensure all monthly quality review and productivity reports are reviewed and completed to meet agreed targets
- Support year-end tax processing activities to meet CRA, Revenue Quebec and regulatory requirements
- Adherence to regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements consistent with industry standards while striving to minimize any risk to the organization
- Ensures that correspondences are completed timely, accurately and in accordance with compliance and regulatory requirements
- Provide input to the documentation of processes as related to Deposit Operations
- Assist the ongoing process of risk identification and mitigation through consultation with management
- Support the internal and external audit process
- Act only within specifically delegated authority
- Act as a resource on User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support project implementation with our partners as required
- Identify & recommend opportunities for continuous process improvements and product developments
- Liaise with other HTC departments to implement new efficiencies that are cross-functional
- Keep up to date on industry and compliance trends; recommends and implements changes to HTC internal processes as needed
- Act as a change agent and support effective change management principles
- University degree in related area or discipline
- Additional accreditation(s), certification(s) in Leadership, Customer Service are strong assets
- 5-7 years of previous People Leadership/ Management experience
- Experience in the Financial Industry is strongly preferred.

- Expected base salary range is $60,000 - $78,000 , plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
