The Director of Finance and Corporate Services is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and a strategic partner to the CEO. This role leads the organization's financial strategy, treasury and budgeting functions, procurement, information technology, business systems, corporate services, and enterprise risk management.Position Availability:· This posting is for a temporary 12-month assignment with a defined start and end date.What’s In It For You?· Base Salary Range: $117,942 - $138,118 + 4% in lieu of benefits and 4% in lieu of vacation.· Opportunity to work for a well-established and respected organization focused on providing positive change for the community.What You’ll Be Responsible For:· Partnering with the CEO to advance the organization's mission, long-term priorities, and corporate values.· Developing and implementing corporate policies, operational frameworks, and business improvement initiatives.· Leading, mentoring, and growing a high ‑ performing team across Finance, IT, Procurement, and Corporate Services.· Ensuring effective departmental operations, staff development, and performance management.· Formulating the overall financial strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational and board priorities.· Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.· Overseeing capital and operational financial strategies, including investment planning and cash flow management.· Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, statutory compliance, and adherence to GAAP, PSAB, and CRA regulations.· Chairing the organization's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program and Committee.· Supporting the development, negotiation, and administration of leases, contracts, vendor agreements, and procurement activities.· Overseeing contractor, vendor, and consultant relationships to ensure quality and compliance.· Managing corporate insurance programs, claims administration, and economic impact analyses.· Leading the IT transformation strategy, strengthening infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital systems.· Overseeing IT governance, operations, applications, and the development of new technology solutions.· Participating in board and committee meetings as required.The Ideal Candidate:· Post ‑ secondary degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related field.· Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is required.· 10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in finance, administration, and corporate services.· Experience in public or non ‑ profit sectors, including unionized, multicultural environments.· Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), PSAB (Public Sector Accounting Board) standards, and federal/provincial compliance regulations.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP/financial systems, and payroll platforms.· Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance.· A successful police clearance is required as a condition of employment.Complimentary Experience:· Previous working knowledge of community housing, the Residential Tenancies Act (2006), and Housing Services Act (2011) is considered an asset.· Previous experience with property services and asset management is considered an asset.· Yardi Voyager 7S experience is considered an asset.Logic Executive Search and Workplace Solutions is dedicated to supporting opportunities that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
