- Lead and execute Group HR strategies aligned with local laws, customs, and culture.
- Forecast HR needs in line with business growth and operational changes.
- Maintain clear role definitions through the RACI model across the HR function.
- Support business unit managers in implementing HR initiatives.
- Drive consistency in HR policies and procedures company-wide.
- Implement retention and recruitment programs to meet growth targets.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to proactively identify workforce needs and organizational priorities.
- Lead HR planning to support business unit strategies, including growth, restructuring, and integration projects.
- Ensure adherence to international labor laws, VINCI Group governance, and local regulatory frameworks across all countries.
- Provide oversight for HR audits, data privacy, ethical compliance, and risk mitigation measures.
- Oversee global talent acquisition processes, including employer branding, workforce planning, and strategic hiring across functions and geographies.
- Build career pathing and succession planning frameworks aligned with ConeTec’s leadership development strategy.
- Drive talent mobility and internal promotion initiatives across business units.
- Design and maintain globally competitive and locally compliant compensation programs.
- Develop consistent reward and recognition strategies to enhance motivation and retention.
- Oversee regional benefits harmonization and policy alignment.
- Lead the implementation of global performance management systems and annual review cycles.
- Introduce and expand ConeTec Leadership Academy and structured development frameworks.
- Drive accountability through clear KPIs, feedback systems, and development action plans.
- Leverage data to monitor workforce trends, attrition, and engagement.
- Deliver regular reports to the stakeholders
- Guide predictive workforce planning using internal analytics and external benchmarking.
- Design and oversee employee engagement strategies including surveys, wellness campaigns, and recognition initiatives.
- Drive initiatives that reinforce company values and cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Contribute to creating equal opportunities for employees to grow their careers within ConeTec.
- Own the global HRIS roadmap (BambooHR, CPD, VISION3, HR SharePoint).
- Champion digital transformation in HR with a focus on scalability, automation, and employee experience.
- Lead continuous improvement of SOPs, policies, and digital workflows.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the COO and executive team on people-related matters.
- Work in close partnership with Finance, Operations, BD, HSE, and Legal on cross-functional initiatives.
- Mentor and manage a diverse global HR team, ensuring consistent communication and accountability.
- Coordinate community involvement and social responsibility initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- CPHR designation preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Global HR experience, with strong exposure to Canada, USA, Australia, South Africa, or LATAM is an asset.
- Industry background in construction, engineering, mining, or oil & gas is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and standards across BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.
- Familiarity with US federal and state employment laws is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS O365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) required.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to optimize HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Strong HRIS experience (BambooHR) and HR tech proficiency.
- Must have advanced data analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Knowledge of Spanish or French is an asset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Must be able to work well both independently and in a team setting.
- Strong organizational abilities and good time management and project planning abilities.
- Highly self-directed and proactive, with a track record of taking initiative.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally (~10%).
