Pay: $41.72/hourWhat You'll Do
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on MHE (conveyors, gearboxes, rollers, drive units, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical failures
- Inspect and monitor equipment and facility conditions
- Reduce downtime by resolving issues quickly and effectively
- Complete safety and operational reports
- Manage and update work orders using CMMS
Education & Certification
- Licensed Electrician (required)
- Industrial Electrician Certificate (442A) for electrician roles
- Completion of a recognized trades program (approx. 3 years)
- 5+ years working as an electrician or millwright in industrial environments
- Experience maintaining and repairing material handling equipment
- Strong mechanical background
- PLC experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens) is an asset
- Read and interpret electrical drawings
- Strong understanding of control circuits
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns
- Experience working with PLC systems to diagnose issues
- Welding experience (ARC & MIG preferred)
- Familiarity with belt conveyor systems
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable using Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must pass a practical assessment
- Must have personal tools as required
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
