- Prepare and enter data required for federal and provincial tax filings (GST/HST, QST, installments, and tax balances)
- Prepare corporate income tax returns (T2 and CO-17)
- Participate in calculating tax provisions in accordance with Canadian accounting standards
- Prepare adjustments for current and deferred tax
- Reconcile tax provisions with financial statements and perform variance analysis
- Monitor tax deadlines and follow up with Canadian tax authorities
- Prepare required annual tax slips
- Communicate with Canadian tax authorities
- College diploma (DEC) or attestation (AEC) in Accounting and Management Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience (including internships or firm experience)
- Good knowledge of accounting software (Caseware, Caseview, Taxprep, etc.)
- Interest in tax and willingness to learn in this field
- Strong attention to detail, rigor, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach
- Strong communication skills, proactive and forward-thinking mindset
- High level of integrity and responsibility
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Fluency in French, spoken and written
- Fluency in English is an asset
