- Lead the overall planning and scheduling of projects to ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and in alignment with contractual requirements
- Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, implementing corrective actions as required to mitigate risks and delays
- Coordinate and oversee all project functions, including administration, scheduling, and construction execution
- Serve as the primary on-site representative for the Company, maintaining effective relationships with owners and key stakeholders
- Ensure owners are informed of all extra work, change events, and claims, and that subcontractors are notified of applicable back charges
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including change orders and amendments
- Implement, enforce, and monitor compliance with the Company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Control programs
- Ensure all site activities comply with applicable legislation, regulations, and municipal requirements
- Provide strong leadership to project staff by directing daily activities, maintaining discipline, and fostering a positive team environment
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and project-specific requirements
- Ensure compliance with union agreements, where applicable
- Review and approve project cost reports, ensuring job cost forecasts and projected margins are accurate and current
- Support the bid and estimating process, providing constructability input and operational insight
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required
- Technical school background and at least 5 years of construction experience
- Experience in the Utility Contracting Industry
- Working computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of construction techniques, practices, and fundamentals
- Experience with contract and subcontract management
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work within a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management
- Maintain valid Ontario (G) driver's license
- Ability to travel within Ontario as required
