The Labourer is part of an effective construction team that successfully completes projects according to approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes while maintaining high quality and a safe workplace. The successful candidate will represent IDL's safety culture and provide response to crews in the event of an injury, illness, or emergency situation.Responsibilities
  • Administer first aid services to all personnel on the worksite as necessary
  • Performs tasks on the labour crew to support operations in the execution of work and assisting various trades
  • Provide general construction labour or administrative support, depending on skillset
  • May perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
  • Occupational First Aid Level Three (3) (Advanced First Aid) is required
  • Experience working in a construction environment
  • Knowledge and practical experience in incident investigation
  • Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC and applicable regulation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including good oral and written English and the ability to maintain confidentiality
