In this role, your primary focus will be maintaining and repairing forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) to keep the operation running safely and efficiently. You’ll also support general facility maintenance as needed, following all safety and company guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts and other MHE according to manufacturer and company standardsDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues impacting equipment performanceAt automated sites, complete PMs and basic troubleshooting on sensors, switches, and control components (photo eyes, proximity switches, push buttons, etc.)Perform basic inspections and minor repairs on refrigeration systems (training provided as needed)Accurately document completed work, inspections, and repairs, and communicate equipment status to leadership dailySupport facility and exterior maintenance tasks as neededUse hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate or repair componentsOperate lifts and other motorized equipment safely while inspecting, maintaining, or repairing assetsRequired Experience & SkillsAt least 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience (or a combination of experience and trade/technical school), with a strong preference for:Forklift or MHE maintenanceIndustrial or building maintenanceConfident using hand tools and power toolsComfortable completing preventative maintenance with minimal supervisionBasic computer skills for work orders and documentationStrong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the teamGood troubleshooting skills and attention to detailAble to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectivelyWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to work in cold storage environments (down to -20°F / -25°C) or warmer dry facilities (up to 100°F / 37°C), with provided PPE and freezer gearAbility to lift at least 50 lbs. (may vary by location)Flexibility to work different shifts or weekends as neededComfort working around equipment noise and, at some sites, working at heightsThe compensation range for this position is $27.36–$42.74 per hour. For this specific role, we are targeting an hourly rate between $35 and $38.The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.Pay Range:$27.36 - $42.74Why Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
