
Senior IT Security Engineer

- Design and implement endpoint security, cryptography, and PKI solutions using industry-standard tools such as DigiCert and SentinelOne.
- Design, implement, and support Network Access Control (NAC) and Security Services Edge (SSE) solutions.
- Manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) policies, rules, and alerts to detect and respond to security threats.
- Monitor and analyze endpoint security events using tools such as Splunk, Tenable, SentinelOne, and Netskope, leveraging automation and AI.
- Manage and enhance security processes and technologies to identify, deter, investigate, and remediate security events.
- Manage and optimize Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies in Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Manage and refine phishing and spam protection policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of business processes with security tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and endpoint security audits to identify and address security weaknesses.
- Engage and collaborate with other teams to achieve overall security and organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and security playbooks related to SentinelOne.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers in managing and troubleshooting SentinelOne and other security operations tools.
- Stay current with the latest endpoint security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with key security solution providers.
- A minumum of 4+ years of experience in endpoint and network security, incident response, or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications from recognized industry solution providers. Preferred certifications include:
- Experience with tools such as Azure Security Advisor, Netskope, Forescout, Tenable, and Splunk.
- Cyber incident response experience is highly desirable.
- Prior experience as an Information Security Architect or Team Lead is a significant asset.
- Strong ability to communicate security policies and initiatives clearly to business stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude, capable of building strong working relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
