- Ensure safety standards are met.

- Reviews adjust/modify confined space hazard evaluations.
- Report all injuries, those requiring first aid and those not.
- Ability to operate all Resin Reactors. Including pre-start-up, shut down, lock-out and emergency procedures.
- Communicate to lead technician’s opportunities to meet production demands.
- Work with all production personnel to ensure production schedule needs are met.
- Ensure that equipment needing maintenance attention is properly identified using the work order system. Perform routine maintenance as required.
- Ensure that all standard operating procedures and PI sheet instructions are clearly understood and followed.
- Maintain accurate entries for Shift reporting and production logs.
- Help facilitate minor and major unit shutdowns.
- Maintain working area in clean and safe conditions at all times, which will include housekeeping audits and assignment of tasks.
- Manage out of spec material by coordinating w/author and Production Superintendent along with appropriate documentation (T-changes/T-blends).
- Ensure proper completion of shift SAP movements and production orders and immediately report deficiencies and errors.
- Ensure operators complete all maintenance. ISO and SOX PMs within the allotted time, not exceeding 1 week from time of distribution.
- Provide and manufacture quality in specification material.
- Initiate quality incident investigations. Be prepared to participate on investigation team.
- Participate in quality improvement teams.
- Perform daily/routine maintenance and calibration on testing equipment.
- Maintain qualification and training on lab equipment.

- Aptitudes: must possess the ability to understand the meaning of words and their ideas, as well as instructions and their underlying principles. Perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately and possess eye-hand coordination. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Temperaments: Must have the ability to accept responsibility, perform duties under stress, adapt to situations requiring preciseness and adapt to changing duties and responsibilities.
- Good organizational skills, Self-starter with good communication skills.
- 1+ years manufacturing experience
- Understanding of industrial safety and housekeeping procedures.
- 4th Class Power Engineer; Shall hold and maintain 4th Class Power Engineer’s Certificate of Competency. Duties and Responsibilities under the Safety Codes Act Power Engineers Regulation 85/2003 or most current.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Computer literacy with Windows based program required.
- Able to work in a team environment.

- Be able to interpret printout data, maintain and update process specification as required.
- Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of hand tools, air tools, etc.
- Recognize and respond to equipment potential malfunctions.
- SAP Experience is a definite asset.
- Able to recognize and respond to equipment potential malfunction.
- Statistical process control and other related fields necessary to operate a facility from a control station/room/HMI.
- Requires visual acuity to read and interpret computerized graphics.
