- Work closely with HR and operational teams to understand evolving business needs and translate them into practical, people-focused Dayforce solutions.
- Lead the configuration and day-to-day stewardship of Dayforce to ensure our people processes are consistent, scalable, and easy to navigate.
- Champion strong governance and data practices so our information remains accurate, auditable, and reliable, supporting quality reporting and pay confidence across the company.
- Plan and coordinate Dayforce upgrades and system enhancements, including assessing impacts and guiding testing, to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to our teams.
- Advance our HR technology roadmap by shaping and delivering approved initiatives end to end, from early scoping through to deployment and adoption.
- Continuously improve Dayforce by reducing enhancement backlogs, simplifying configurations, streamlining workflows, and making the platform easier and more intuitive for our people to use.
- Strengthen McElhanney’s enterprise talent capabilities in Dayforce including performance, skills and capability tracking, internal mobility, workforce planning, and succession.
- Maintain and enhance HR system integrations so our people processes remain seamless, accurate, and resilient, supporting smooth operations across the business.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with hands-on exposure to core HR, payroll, and/or talent processes.
- 3+ years of hands-on Dayforce experience, including advanced reporting, data validation, and system optimization; experience with other large HCM platforms may also be considered.
- Experience in planning and executing HR technology initiatives, including scoping work, coordinating testing, and managing dependencies.
- Demonstrated ability to design configurations and reports, maintain documentation, and resolve complex system issues.
- Proven success partnering with interested parties to translate business needs into practical, reliable system outcomes.
- Experience supporting HR system integrations or ERP adjacent work.
- Exposure to people analytics or workforce data.
- Experience in a professional services or multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think holistically, considering short and long-term impacts to people, processes, technology, and the organization when planning and executing system work.
- Comfortable working across technical, operational, and people focused domains.
- Remain adaptable and growth oriented, staying current with evolving Dayforce capabilities and HR practices.
- Strong ownership and follow-through, managing work in a disciplined, reliable, and outcomes focused manner across teams and vendors.
