Summary:
  • Location: La Prairie, QC
  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Working Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
  • Travel: Possible international travel to visit customers
  • Language Requirement: French & English speaker needed
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure optimized timelines and resource allocation.
  • Create and update project schedules using scheduling tools.
  • Monitor project progress and address scheduling conflicts.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize resource allocation.
  • Document scheduling activities and prepare detailed reports.
  • Ensure compliance with scheduling standards and guidelines.
  • Build tender integrated schedules and cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with global standards for planning and cost control.
  • Support project managers in aligning project budgets to sold figures.
  • Maintain project schedule and cost forecast throughout the project.
  • Analyze schedule and cost trends, providing forecasts to the project team.
  • Maintain registers of potential schedule and cost risks, actual and committed costs.
  • Communicate schedule and cost status/forecasts/risk to functional cost owners and support risk mitigation.
  • Provide internal and external project reporting of project status.
  • Collaborate with third parties on project cost and schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy of cost budgets, actuals, and forecasting.
  • Ensure alignment to established standards (WBS, process, procedures, tools usage).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in scheduling or project management roles.
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent working experience with both planning and costing tools (Primavera P6, SAP).
Preferred Skills:
  • Working experience in the electrification industry.
  • French in addition to English language is preferable both written & spoken.
  • 5 years of planning large turnkey projects.
  • Experience providing cost controlling on large turnkey projects.
  • Lead planner on turnkey projects.
  • Knowledge of cost control function on large complex turnkey projects.
  • Knowledge of forensic analysis on large complex turnkey projects.
