►Lead stakeholder engagement/ change activities including leading change to improve production procedures, processes, and controls.
►Execution and coaching of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing tools such as: Root cause analysis, SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, FMEA, Fishbone, etc.
►Perform process improvement projects using Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control principles.
►Execute and implement key elements of Industrial Engineering's work breakdown structure:
- 5S standardization.
- Standard operating procedures.
- Performance metrics.
- Capacity analysis.
- Workplace standards.
- Total productive maintenance.
- Overall equipment effectiveness.
- Process improvement.
- 4-8 years' work experience in complex industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with manufacturing process assessment and development.
- Demonstrated experience using Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma tool sets in an industrial workplace setting.
- Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships both with and among team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Recognized Degree in Engineering - Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or similar.
- Accredited or eligible for accreditation with Engineers Nova Scotia - P. Eng.
- “Change Management” or “Leading Change” certification, or equivalent training or experience.
