Technical Sales Representative – Winnipeg, MBOur client is a leader in overhead cranes and engineered lifting solutions , supporting manufacturing and industrial clients with everything from system design to installation and ongoing service.They are growing their commercial team and are looking to add a Technical Sales Representative who can work directly with clients to design and deliver customized lifting solutions.The RoleThis is a consultative, project-based sales role focused on helping customers solve operational challenges related to lifting, safety, and efficiency.You’ll work closely with manufacturing and industrial clients to understand their workflows, assess their facilities, and recommend tailored crane and lifting systems—from initial concept through to installation and follow-up support.What You’ll Be Doing
  • Meet with clients on-site to understand operational needs and project requirements
  • Assess facilities, take measurements, and help define scope of work
  • Review drawings, layouts, and specifications to recommend appropriate solutions
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and project timelines
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, service, installation) to execute projects
  • Manage projects from quote through to completion
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Identify opportunities for upgrades, retrofits, and additional services
What You’re Selling
  • Overhead crane systems and workstation cranes
  • Hoists, jib cranes, and lifting devices
  • Custom-engineered lifting solutions
  • Installation, inspections, and ongoing service support
What They’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, construction, industrial, or equipment sales
  • Ability to read or understand drawings and layouts (or willingness to learn)
  • Comfortable with site visits and field-based work
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized and able to manage longer sales cycles (3–4 months)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience in manufacturing, construction, or material handling equipment is considered an asset.Why This Role
