- Payment Processing: Overseeing the validation and processing of payments to contractors according to contractual milestones and project timelines.
- Develop and implement payment policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Handle escalated payment issues and resolve them promptly.
- Prepare and present regular reports on payment operations to senior management.
- Documentation Management: Handling extensive documentation related to payments as well as supporting documentation in an organized manner.
- Coordination with Stakeholders: Working closely with project managers, accounting personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial and payment operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), or payment related certifications are desirable.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in payment processing, finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in payment processing software and financial analysis tools.
- Ideally of 5 years of experience in payment processing, finance, or a related field.
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
- Based on the ability for the individual to ensure that monthly payments and reconciliation payments are made on time.
