We take our responsibility seriously as we use technology to help our customers make important, sometimes life-changing decisions.What will you do?Provide technical expertise and assistance with the Extraction, Loading, and Transformation of structured and unstructured datasetsMaintain long-running services, APIs, and data pipelines, including monitoring, logging, and resource managementHelp with the development of BizOps and Data Science products and algorithms to solve impactful business problemsSupport projects with thorough documentation of usage, design decisions, and capabilitiesDemo results and findings to various internal and external business stakeholdersIn this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide.What do you need to succeed?Must have:Demonstrated success writing robust data pipelines leveraging technologies such as Spark, SQL, Airflow and SnowflakeExperience with Java or a JVM-based programming language such as KotlinExperience developing on a cloud platform (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with Python and shell scripting in a Linux environmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsNice-to-have:Familiarity with AWS cloud computing, managing data infrastructure leveraging Devops and MLops knowledgeExperience working in enterprise environmentWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
