- Responsible for delivery of components / features in alignment with strategy and the broader roadmap on the Information Archive DevOps Team.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Support, clients, and other TPMs to produce and manage their component's backlog and contribute to the product roadmap.
- Translate product roadmap initiatives and feature requests into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other suitable artifacts.
- Identify and coordinate cross-component dependencies throughout the development process.
- Work with Product Management, Development, and other departments to actively remove obstacles blocking progress and ensure program is within schedule.
- Prioritize and groom their team(s) backlog.
- Attend daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives and other team meetings with your Agile team(s).
- Create work estimates, track progress, and report status in the form of burn up/down charts and dashboards.
- Support Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Provisioning, Professional Services, Technical Documentation, Training, and Technical Support throughout the release process with training, documentation, announcements, and other release activities.
- Understand the design, business logic, and technical architecture of their platform components and how those components interact with the rest of the platform.
- Serve as primary product expert (functional, not technical) for the components for which you are responsible.
- Lead and plan initiatives to maintain and keep up-to-date all the Global Relay infrastructure that powers our Information Archive product.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives on product observability, and coordination with support-level teams to ensure optimal customer experiences.
- Facilitating daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other team meetings with your agile team(s)
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or product owner.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modelling, use case modeling, workflow design, and documentation skills .
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Understanding of one or more areas (eg. service level monitoring, deployment processes, environment mgmt, security, DevOps best practices, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, etc)
- Experience as a software developer/engineer
- Experience with a SaaS, messaging, or enterprise software company
- Experience drive cross-team initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
- Experience planning, monitoring, and reporting on project status
