- Manage daily cash positioning, cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization to ensure adequate liquidity for operational and strategic needs
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions; negotiate and oversee banking services, credit facilities and financing agreements
- Manage and optimize the company's financing strategies, evaluate funding options and optimize debt structure to ensure long-term financial flexibility
- Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks including foreign exchange, interest rate and counterparty risks; implement hedging strategies as needed
- Develop and enhance treasury policies, procedures and controls ensuring regulatory and internal policy compliance
- Lead the ongoing implementation of the Treasury Management System (TMS) and continuously improve processes leveraging technology and best practices
- Identify and execute treasury initiatives to improve financial efficiency, reduce costs and optimize capital structure
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Treasury certification (e.g. CTP) an asset
- 5+ years of experience in treasury functions
- Strong understanding of treasury operations: cash management, liquidity planning, debt financing and financial risk management
- Ability to interpret complex treasury matters and provide practical, strategic solutions
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) an asset; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
