Preference will be given to candidates who currently live in Kamloops, Terrace, or the Whistler area.Essential ResponsibilitiesConduct maintenance on aircraft or aircraft componentsPerform all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthinessEnsure all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submissionEnsure all maintenance installations meet the standards of airworthinessTroubleshoot faulty systems to determine a course of rectificationTravel with an aircraft and apprentice / mechanic when assigned away from base for an extended period of time, as requiredAssist with sheet metal / avionics repairs as neededQualificationsMinimum 3 years’ hands-on line experience on AS350B3eExperience on ec135/bell 407 considered an asset.Endorsements are preferred, but we will trainCurrent Transport Canada M1/M2 AME LicenseExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with strong observational, decision-making and time management skillsStrong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamWork ConditionsThis is a Field touring, rotational positionLocal applicants from Kamloops, Terrace, or the Whistler area will be given preferenceAdditional InformationSummit Helicopters, a member of the Ledcor Group of Companies, delivers helicopter aviation solutions with one of the largest and most diverse fleets in the industry.
