Our client, a reputable logistics and delivery company, is seeking a Courier to join their team. As a Courier, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting Logistics and Delivery Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Utility Courier
Location: Summerside, PEI
Shift: 30 hours/week - Flexibility required
Pay Rate: $21.20/hour
Contract: Temporary until December, 2025What's the Job?
  • Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
  • Scan packages/mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
  • Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)
  • Advise the unit manager when inspections fail
What's Needed?
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License for at least 3 years required
  • No more than four (4) demerit points on Driver's Abstract
  • Must successfully pass Defensive Driving and Courier Methods training
  • Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
