- Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital (QC): Currently the largest new hospital project under construction in Quebec, this $2.6B facility will feature 404 beds, 11 operating rooms, and a 41-stretcher emergency department.
- Mount Sinai Hospital – Women’s & Infants Health Program (Phases 1 & 2).
- Expansion of the Sainte-Justine Hospital Centre – Grandir en Santé.
- Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Modernization (QC): Expansion of one of Quebec’s largest hospitals with 720 beds and advanced M&E systems.
- CHUM – Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (QC): Long-term operations and maintenance contract for one of the largest hospitals in Quebec.
- Eagle Ridge Hospital Emergency Department Upgrade – Port Moody (BC).
- COVID-19 Emergency Surge Capacity Solutions delivered across Canada, the UK, and the US.
- Lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical building systems for healthcare facilities including hospitals, long-term care homes, and specialized medical buildings.
- Oversee systems such as HVAC, plumbing, medical gases and fire protection.
- Ensure technical excellence and compliance with codes (OBC, NBC) and standards.
- Apply project management principles to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
- Mentor and coach engineers and designers, supporting their career development and technical growth.
- Recruit and onboard new team members, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate training opportunities.
- Ensure quality assurance and consistency across all deliverables.
- Represent AtkinsRéalis in client meetings, industry events, conferences, and technical committees.
- Support proposal development, strategic planning, and market growth initiatives.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams across Canada—including Québec, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Atlantic regions—to share best practices, harmonize technical standards, and build a strong national technical community.
- Participate in national knowledge-sharing forums and contribute to the development of innovative, scalable solutions for healthcare infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical building systems design, with at least 10 years in healthcare projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PEO).
- Experience with AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) is an asset.
- Experience with collaborative model (IPD, Alliance, Progressive DB) projects is an asset.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex healthcare projects.
- Strong understanding of healthcare facility operations and infrastructure requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
