Location: Vancouver, CanadaEmployment Type: ContractAbout the RoleWe are looking for a reliable and safety-focused individual to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to providing general labor and operational support, assisting skilled trades, technicians, and operators, and ensuring the completion of tasks safely and efficiently.Responsibilities

Assist skilled workers, operators, or supervisors with daily tasks
Handle materials, tools, and equipment as directed
Load, unload, and transport materials around the work site
Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow safety procedures and site rules at all times
Support basic tasks such as lifting, holding materials, or guiding equipment
Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, or incidents immediately
Perform general housekeeping and site support duties as required

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
Willingness to work outdoors or in industrial environments
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime or weekends if required

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

Prior experience in construction, industrial, warehouse, or labor roles
Familiarity with hand tools and basic equipment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, CSTS, PPE training) where applicable
