You will work as part of our close-knit sales and administrative team and will be responsible for supporting our dealer sales team. This is a full-time, in-office position working Monday through Friday between 8:30am-5pm.You Are:Customer Focused: You work to drive a superior customer experience to ensure dealer satisfaction and build client retention. You also help dealer customers get maximum value from VLC services and marketplace platforms.A Proactive Problem-Solver: You can assess and triage immediate customer issues, enabling on-the-spot resolutions to ensure an optimal customer experience.Team Oriented: You partner with other team members, including sales, dealer registration, and accounting, to support customer service needs.An Analytical Negotiator: You utilize market conditions to effectively qualify reserve prices and negotiate sales.Curious: You are relentlessly curious, seeking out opportunities to learn about our industry and service offerings to better support customers.You Will:Manage Customer Relationships: Act as a liaison between all VLC departments , resolve customer concerns effectively , and educate customers on our systems and services. You will also use OPENLANE’s CRM to log calls and run reports.Coordinate Auction & Inventory Logistics: Handle all auction-day duties , including assisting with lane placement and performing all tasks related to auction run lists. You will also ensure ancillary services like transport are completed and monitor on-ground inventory to provide marketing recommendations.Drive Sales & Financial Processes: Assist in the resolution of "If Bids" , facilitate the seller cheque process , and ensure all reserve prices and declarations are accurate.Collaborate Internally: Work with the dealer sales team to ensure proper marketing of inventory and with dealer registration to assist with customer sign-ups and information changes.Perform Administrative & Strategic Functions: Handle clerical and numerical data processing , monitor VIP customer performance , and track local competition to recommend competitive strategies.Must Haves:High School diploma or equivalent1-2 years of related experience in a customer service or administrative capacity, ideally in the automotive industryTech-savvy and comfortable using Google SuiteEffective customer relations, communication, and interpersonal skillsNice to Haves:Prior experience working in automotive remarketing is preferredPrior experience with sales management tracking databases, such as Salesforce.comExperience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systemsDemonstrated ability to learn, retain and articulate product-related informationBilingual in English and FrenchThis role may require you to interact with customers, leaders, and colleagues in Quebec, other provinces, or other countries who may not speak French.Sound like a match?
