Our client is a leading provider of a diverse range of products and solutions for the manufacturing, mining, and construction industries across Canada.As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, responsible for the safe and efficient handling and transportation of materials. Your primary duties will include:
- Operating reach trucks to load, unload, and move materials within our facilities
- Performing pre-shift inspections and maintaining the operational readiness of reach trucks
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborating with the wider team to support the smooth flow of materials and logistics
- Previous experience operating Counterbalance Forklift (High Lift 16' racking)
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and other technical documentation
- A valid forklift operator's license or certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to lift 50 lbs. individually
