IT IS AN HONOR TO PROVIDE HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED, AND TO THOSE WHO CONTINUE TO SERVE OUR COUNTRY.Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a full-time Public Health Registered Nurse with three (3) full-time equivalent years of experience to join the team in Gagetown, New Brunswick.The successful Public Health Registered Nurse will provide service to our client in a number of areas including: immunization, disease and injury prevention, health surveillance, protection and promotion, infection control, and emergency preparedness and response.This is a great opportunity for an Public Health Nurse looking for Monday - Friday day shifts only (no nights, no weekends), and who is ready for an exciting challenge working with an extremely unique and rewarding patient population!!!Our Public Health Nurses work as a member of a multidisciplinary primary health care team in a primary care/clinic setting. Work includes individual or group appointments, public health/immunization campaigns, and individual or group health education sessions within or outside the health services facility.Previous immunization experience in the full vaccination schedule is a must as the nurse will manage, schedule, and do the full vaccination program.** We thank and appreciate all applicants, however, the Recruitment Team will only contact candidates who are moved forwards in the recruitment process to discuss the role. Strong IPAC and immunization skills are required.Candidates must also have:
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Manitoba
  • Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent such as Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) Level C. Annual recertification is required.
OTHER CERTIFICATIONS (facilitated by Bayshore during onboarding):
  • Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within the last two (2) years)
  • Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within the last two (2) years)
