We are looking for a strategically minded, highly motivated candidate who will be able to provide reliable and timely information and analysis to business leaders.As a Senior Financial Analyst - Costing, your responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing monthly variances for SG&A, labor, and other cost centers by comparing actual performance to budgeted figures.
  • Preparing labor, overhead, and SG&A rate calculations.
  • Reviewing and preparing monthly allocations for various cost centers.
  • Managing month-end entries and allocations.
  • Acting as the lead for the annual rate negotiation file with government entities.
  • Preparing and presenting clear and concise financial reports to senior management.
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an accounting or financial role.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and sharp business acumen.
  • Strategic thinking ability and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
What sets you apart:
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., Oracle, Power BI).
  • A relevant professional designation, such as CPA.
  • Experience in FP&A activities, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
