- Analyzing monthly variances for SG&A, labor, and other cost centers by comparing actual performance to budgeted figures.
- Preparing labor, overhead, and SG&A rate calculations.
- Reviewing and preparing monthly allocations for various cost centers.
- Managing month-end entries and allocations.
- Acting as the lead for the annual rate negotiation file with government entities.
- Preparing and presenting clear and concise financial reports to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an accounting or financial role.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and sharp business acumen.
- Strategic thinking ability and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize in a demanding environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Knowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., Oracle, Power BI).
- A relevant professional designation, such as CPA.
- Experience in FP&A activities, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
