Capabilities for this role include being able to build applications in Java, using modern architectures; being hands on in Object Oriented Languages (Java, Kotlin, C#, Objective C/Swift), Cloud Based Technologies (AWS), Front-End Frameworks (React JS, Node.js), and Mobile Development Frameworks (React Native, Swift/Objective C, Kotlin/Java); application coding based on design and specificationsThe Full Stack Developer is responsible for having a strong aptitude for understanding complex business problems and translating their technical knowledge into practical, implementable solutions that will drive high impact business value. Incumbent will work closely with other team members to maintain internal applications and develop new products and services.What You Will DoReporting to the Director of Investly Software Product Development, the Full Stack Developer will:Liaise with internal user groups as needed to effectively program applications based on business and systems requirementsWork collaboratively with peers and business partners to deliver high quality projects and innovative solutionsEnsures that functional specifications can be implemented technically while developing and innovating creative solutionsDesign, develop, enhance, modify, and maintain application code and software solutions based on specific business requirements.Implements the best practices of Agile and DevSecOps for development to deliver quality products predictably and consistently.Develop unit tests to ensure high quality code and be accountable for the quality of the product delivered.Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modificationsWhat You Will BringStrong planning and software implementation skillsUnderstanding of the importance of non-functional requirements include security, performance, and data managementExperience in both user interface and API implementationExcellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oralThe ability to drive consensus amongst key stakeholdersExperience, EducationUniversity Degree in Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics or equivalent work experience3+ years of Java development experience, using the latest SDKs and tools and frameworks such as Spring boot, spring JDBC, and Spring test experience.2+ years of developing in React, React Native or mobile development would be an assetExperience with the following applications:MySQL or similar SQL-based database systemsInterface with back-end applications using MQ, SOAP, RESTFUL services, and JSONApplication development using JavaWeb development using React JS or other modern JavaScript frameworksAgile project management tools (JIRA), and CI/CD pipelinesDeveloping AWS or other cloud solutions according to industry best practicesStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and comprehend technical details clearlyAbility to demonstrate product demos to users and stakeholders, collect feedback and implement improvementsTotal Rewards That Reflect Your ImpactWe believe exceptional work deserves exceptional recognition.
