- Act an initial point of contact when answering telephone calls, greeting in clinic and visitors upon arrival while providing excellent customer service for all questions or concerns
- Assist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information
- Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patient’s medical record
- Collect payment at time of service and maintain accurate insurance claims to third party funders
- Complete data entry and billing for third party funders
- Provide administrative support to Program Managers, Clinic Director and Care Coordinator Manager
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills specifically in MS Word, Excel and data entry
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy and fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with a strong overall work ethic
- Post secondary education in Medical Office Administration or related field considered an asset
- Previous experience in a physiotherapy or multidisciplinary health clinic considered a strong asset
- Bilingualism (French/English) required
