- Conduct research on investment industry trends, emerging product structures, and competitor offerings to identify potential innovation opportunities.
- Analyze competitor product launches and strategic positioning to support internal opportunity assessments.
- Summarize external research and market insights for internal stakeholders to support idea development and validation.
- Support the evaluation of new product and innovation ideas by assisting with research, analysis, and preparation of idea assessments.
- Assist the team in developing materials that articulate client problems, market opportunities, and strategic rationale for potential solutions.
- Contribute to the documentation and organization of ideas and insights within the product innovation pipeline.
- Assist in preparing analytical materials and presentations to support opportunity assessments and internal decision-making.
- Support research and data gathering for product validation workstreams, including market sizing, competitive landscape analysis, and client need assessment.
- Help prepare materials used in internal discussions and product committee reviews.
- Create presentations and summary materials for senior management and internal stakeholders.
- Provide ad hoc research and analytical support across innovation initiatives and strategic projects.
- Assist the team in maintaining organized tracking of innovation initiatives and research outputs.
- Registered students returning to school in 2026 in a related field (BCom, BA, BSc, etc.)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, judgment & decision-making skills
- Ability to self-motivate and prioritize time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to apply analytical methods to facts and hypothesis to provide information in support decision making
- Experienced in using different analytical tools to complete the required financial analysis
- Apply sound judgment in constructing analysis and in formulating recommendations
- Resourceful and creative in solving new/non-recurring problems through research and well supported analysis and business acumen
- Ability to create PowerPoint presentations with clear messaging, supported by sound analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Outlook.
