Cook and prepare a variety of food items
Prepare salads for the salad bar and catering services
Prepare catering sandwiches
Perform mise en place
Assemble catering trays
Assist with inventory counts
Participate in food service operations
Demonstrate creativity while respecting client requirements
Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
Prepare high-end meals for the hot table
Optimize food and labour costs
Ensure the implementation of management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs
Monitor and maintain service quality and customer satisfaction
Be able to respond to operational needs
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service or restaurant operations
Catering preparation experience is an asset
Strong organizational skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to daily work
MAPAQ food hygiene and sanitation certificate (an asset)
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work independently
