- Prepare and execute landscape architecture plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for projects of moderate to complex scope.
- Collaborate with senior landscape architects and managers on complex designs, surveys, proposals, and client development initiatives.
- Communicate with clients and colleagues, providing guidance, resolving design or construction issues, and implementing solutions.
- Deliver site administration services, develop technical specifications and materials recommendations, and support implementation as needed.
- Provide technical leadership to landscape architects, engineers, technologists, and other project team members.
- Coordinate project schedules and resources to ensure timely, efficient delivery, with strong focus on client care, budget, and timelines.
- Analyze market opportunities, support business development, and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and agencies.
- A degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Full membership or the ability to obtain immediate full membership with the AALA/CSLA.
- A minimum of five (5) years of Western Canada based practice experience in the field of Landscape Architecture.
- A portfolio that illustrates the diversity of work completed as a Landscape Architect and their abilities with respect to planning, design, implementation and project management
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer experience (CAD, Word, Excel, Photoshop).
- Proven track record of client and business development.
- Preference given to candidates who have completed the Landscape Architecture Registration Exam (LARE) and those with LEED Accreditation.
