- Bring subject matter expertise to work collaboratively with HR and business teams to identify, design, and implement culture, engagement, and recognition initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational performance.
- Prioritize continuous improvement and integrate best practice principles of change management, project management, and employee engagement and recognition.
- Work collaboratively across divisions and partner with human resource business partners to effectively implement culture, engagement, and recognition programs that reinforce organizational values, leadership expectations, and desired behaviours.
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen employee engagement, recognition, and connection across the organization, supporting a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Design and deliver effective project workplans, change management strategies and communications to support awareness, adoption, and sustained use of engagement and recognition programs and initiatives.
- Use data-driven approaches to report on and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of programs and initiatives, employee exit experience, employee recognition and engagement insights.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to create, support, and implement an integrated culture, engagement, and recognition strategy across the employee lifecycle that contributes to Metrolinx being a great place to work.
- Completion of a university bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated years of experience working in large, complex, and rapidly changing organizations.
- Strong project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, including project planning, execution, risk management, and coordination across HR and business teams.
- Experience with employee engagement survey methodology, design, and implementation.
- Experience designing and implementing employee recognition programs, methodology, and approaches.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering practical change approaches, tools, and communications that support leader and employee adoption of new programs, behaviours, or ways of working.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and multiple stakeholders while delivering results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing executive-ready materials (briefing notes, presentations, toolkits) and confidently communicating with senior leaders and diverse employee groups.
- Project management certification, change management certification, and corporate event planning experience an asset.
