- Oversee the procurement of materials, components, and equipment to meet operational needs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align material requirements with project demands.
- Track and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimized.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with vendors to secure favourable agreements.
- Identify and address supply chain issues or delays, implementing solutions to maintain workflow.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent disruptions in upcoming orders.
- Update and manage purchase orders and inventory data within the organizational system.
- Ensure incoming materials are properly labeled and organized for efficient use.
- Support initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving supply chain processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing or machinery industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and managing inventory processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data processing tools.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency.
