The role ensures that Bombardier's Finance processes, SAP solution landscape, and BIS roadmap remain aligned, standardized, and optimized to deliver measurable business value.Hands On SAP Functional Expertise
- Act as the primary hands on SAP FI/CO functional expert, actively resolving incidents, analyzing root causes, testing fixes, and validating technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot FI/CO issues including:
o AR billing integration, incoming payments, customer master data
o Product Costing (standard costing, BOMs, routings, cost rollups)
o CO PA, cost allocations, assessments, settlement cycles * Validate and test configuration and work collaboratively with SAP Basis, developers, and vendors.Operations & Incident Management
- Lead daily operational activities with vendors and internal stakeholders for AP, AR, Costing, and CO.
- Manage incident, problem, and change processes for the Finance value stream, ensuring quick turnaround and service continuity.
- Provide expert guidance to AMS partners and ensure resolution quality.
- Translate business needs into high quality BIS requirements, ensuring completeness, clarity, and alignment with Bombardier architectural standards.
- Prepare SAP solution documentation, troubleshooting guides, and functional design specifications.
- Support integration design across SAP ECC and S4 HANA ecosystems.
- Partner closely with Finance and Operations to continuously assess processes and opportunities for automation, simplification, and SAP standard adoption.
- Support readiness and transition activities for S/4HANA where applicable.
- You hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or a related field.
- You have 7-10+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, including configuration and incident troubleshooting.
- You have deep functional knowledge in AP, AR, Product Costing (CO PC), and Controlling (CO).
- You bring experience working in a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of cost flow analysis considered a valuable asset. .
- You possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- You have the ability to collaborate with business leaders and translate Finance needs into SAP solutions for small projects.
- You have experience managing change, user adoption, and cross functional integration.
- You have exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and infrastructure concepts is an advantage.
- You have good communication skills, both written and spoken, in French and English.
