- Provide leadership of the finance function including general accounting, cost management, budgeting, payroll and IT.
- As a key member of the senior leadership team, take an active role in the short and long-term strategic planning and decision making for the organization.
- Oversee the development and execution of the financial strategy including mergers/acquisitions, accounting/financial reporting, budgeting, tax and external investment activities.
- Understand and forecast trends and changes within the business, industry and economy and implement programs and policies that align.
- Provide complex financial analysis on matters that impact the company including competitive trends, pricing, cash flow, product line evaluation, capital expenditures and expansion opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the Finance team including recruitment, development, training and performance management.
- Develop and implement the department business plan and budget and update accordingly.
- Forecast and anticipate business challenges and opportunities and ensure the company's financial and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including sales, gross margin, operating expenses and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial controls and risk management into daily operations.
- Implement technology-driven financial solutions to streamline accounting and financial processes.
- A CPA designation with a minimum of 10+ years of senior finance leadership.
- Strong financial reporting and budgeting background.
- Previous experience within a multi-location, retail environment is highly desirable.
- Strategic project planning and cost management for capital investments and new growth initiatives.
- Comfort and experience with ERP systems and implementations.
- Excellent people and communication skills and ability to deal effectively with all stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
