- Prepare food according to recipe/portion control
- Supervision of up to 8 staff
- Bake, roast, steam, broil and otherwise cook food
- Responsible for presentation and garnishment
- Must directly or indirectly provide for superior customer service and always promote excellent relations with co-workers
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must have journeyman's papers / Red Seal
- Must have four (4) years of progressive culinary experience in a large kitchen, similar working environment
- Must meet departmental standard for Prep Line Cook in all areas of kitchen
- Must be well rounded in all areas of the kitchen with a basic knowledge of Pastry
- Must demonstrate leader ship and training skills
- Must be proficient in the following areas: Garde Manger, Hot Kitchen and Line Cooking
- Must participate in a three (3) course cooking test during interview process
- Must be able to handle stressful situations in an appropriate manner
