● Administration: administer final exams, input final grades upon course completion, and participate in course-related meetings, as required
● Service: may include: coaching student competition teams, supporting student/industry events, mentoring student clubs, engaging with industry, assisting with the development of curriculum, and serving on departmental or university committees; and
● Community: At Mount Royal University our industry connections are an important and integral part of our programs. The successful candidate will be required to actively liaise with human resources industry partners or professional associations on behalf of the Bissett School of Business.Qualifications● A completed PhD in human resources, or closely related field, is preferred, but Masters required.●● Preference for candidates with experience teaching in one or more of the following areas: labour relations, compensation and benefits, occupational health and safety, or organizational learning and development.● Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills;● Strong industry connections an asset;● Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is an asset;● Experience with Indigenous Relations and established connections to Indigenous communities, including students, is an asset.What We OfferTalented and committed employees are the driving force behind student success.
