Job Description :OpTalent is partnering with a leading HVAC service organization to recruit a high-performing Outside Sales Representative focused on driving growth through preventative maintenance programs.This role is ideal for a true hunter—someone who thrives on opening doors, building relationships from the ground up, and converting prospects into long-term service clients.The OpportunityAs an Outside Sales Representative, your primary mandate will be to identify, pursue, and secure new commercial and industrial clients for preventative maintenance agreements. You will play a key role in helping building owners and operators protect critical HVAC assets, reduce downtime, and control long-term operating costs.This is a field-based, consultative sales role with significant autonomy and strong earning potential.Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new business through a structured and disciplined sales process
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client operations, risks, and service needs
  • Present and sell customized HVAC preventative maintenance solutions
  • Develop and execute a territory growth plan, including targeted outreach and networking
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers, property managers, and facility leaders
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM
  • Represent the organization with professionalism, technical credibility, and integrity

What We’re Looking ForRequired Experience & Skills
  • Proven success selling HVAC preventative maintenance or service agreements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC environments
  • Strong consultative, value-based selling capabilities
  • Experience selling service-based or intangible solutions
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and operations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies
