- Accountability and management of Eastern Canada sales territory including Manitoba, Quebec, Ontario and Atlantic Canada
- Achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets through a combination of new business development and account growth
- Build and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company objectives
- Ownership includes all Metals and Minerals business lines
- Listening to and understanding customer perspectives and leverage personal and group experience to shape our value proposition and service offering to the customer and industry
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned accounts and region
- Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling and upselling for all BV services
- Maintain a strategic account plan for major customers
- Identify and pursue new customers and market opportunities within the territory
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and execution of services
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Develop strong understanding of service capabilities to craft compelling proposals
- Conduct regular customer meetings, presentations and product demonstrations
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams including operations, marketing and customer support
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationship development
- Monitor Industry trends, competitor activity, and regional market conditions
- Provide insight to leadership on market opportunities and customer needs
- Forecasting and Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management within CRM
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, pipeline health, and strategic initiatives
- Participate in marketing programs and promotion of new and existing products including conferences, networking events, etc.
- Client-centric approach and a strong focus on consistently providing excellent customer service
- Strong time management and prioritization competency
- Excellent verbal and written communication expertise
- University degree in Geology, Chemistry or equivalent
- Previous experience in account management, business development, sales or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in mining/mineral processing/lab environment
- Frequent travel to client sites and regional offices
- Exposure to various industrial environments (mining, mineral processing, laboratory facilities) during client visit
