- We are fortunate to have large outdoor space and a forest that we use for Forest school and Forest Adventures program.
- We are located at St.Amant's head office, 440 River Road
- We are open from 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday
- The ECE ISP Leader provides overall care and well-being of the children according to the Manitoba Child Day Care Standards Act, develops, implements and provides support the team to create inclusive programming for all children.
- The ECE ISP Leader adheres to and promotes all aspects of safety, development and compliance with all applicable safety legislation throughout the organization.
- The ECE ISP Leader, is responsible to assist with a program that reflects individual program plans. Advocates, mentors and educate ECE and CCA's in individual goals and objectives to support individual needs of children.
- The ECE ISP leader ensures that all resources (time, supplies equipment) are used in the most effective and efficient ways to support service and program activities.
- The ECE ISP Leader assists to maintain a strong client/customer focus by participating in the Continuous Quality Improvement program within the organization.
- The ECE ISP Leader ensures that the services provided are aligned with the dynamic role of St.Amant and the changing objectives. The ECE ISP Leader supports and actively works toward the achievement of service areas, organizational objectives and the changing needs within RRCC.
- Community College diploma (2 year) or Undergraduate Degree which meets the requirements for classification as an Early Childhood Educator II/III with the Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care Program
- Valid Emergency First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate as prescribed by the Manitoba Child Day Care Standards Act
- Function effectively as a team member
- Contribute to effective employee relationships within a unionized environment
- Physical fit with the ability to use low chairs and to lift, transfer, feed and toilet children
- Physically able to wash and disinfect toys and move small furniture and child care equipment
