- Process payroll cycles for a diversified clientele with varying levels of complexity
- Ensure rigorous tracking of payroll schedules and client‑specific deadlines
- Update data in the payroll system (new hires, departures, salary changes, group insurance enrollment, etc.)
- Respond to client requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Manage follow‑ups related to leave, vacation banks, personal days, and wage garnishments
- Produce Records of Employment and periodic payroll‑related reports
- Prepare full year‑end processing (tax slips, summaries, annual reports)
- Participate in continuous improvement of processes and perform other related tasks
- DEC in accounting or equivalent training
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Working toward Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from the National Payroll Institute (NPI), or a clear intention to obtain it in the near term
- Good knowledge of payroll systems such as Desjardins, Nethris, or others
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Knowledge of payroll compliance rules (a significant asset)
- Ability to work with accuracy, speed, and autonomy in a changing environment
- Professionalism, discretion, and strong customer‑service orientation
Proficiency in English is also required due to the nature of our clientele and our partners across Canada (particularly in English‑speaking provinces) and internationally, where English is the business language.
